At Southeast Capital Investments, Inc., we offer an easier and more profitable lifestyle for our customers - all questions answered, no wasted trips, job done well. By selecting good sites, analyzing them well and removing the guesswork, our goal is to create value. We carefully manage the due diligence and construction processes and see the project through to completion - typically on time, within budget, no surprises, as planned.

Our problem solvers have been trained for years as brokers and developers for companies such as Wal-Mart, CVS, and Captain D's and have the experience and expertise needed to select, acquire, and develop the sites that meet our clients needs. A small firm that chooses its projects carefully, keeps its overhead low, thinks creatively, and offers solutions, we take a long-term approach to building relationships with our customers and the communities in which we do business.

SECI takes a comprehensive approach to the identification of real estate opportunities by carefully examining each market and selecting sites with the optimum mix of location, access, visibility, demographic, and economic conditions.

A full service real estate development and brokerage firm, Southeast Capital Investments, Inc. was established as an Alabama Corporation in 1993. Since that time, SECI has established a proven track record of completing successful projects and has been an owner, partner, developer or broker for:

    Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Costco, Toys ‘R’ Us, Book-A-Million, Ruby Tuesday, Office Max

Circuit City, CVS, Walgreen’s, People’s Bank, Captain D’s, Dollar General Stores, Texaco, Wendy’s

Backyard Burgers, Ryan’s Family Steakhouse, Bennigan’s, Zaxby’s, and others.

Over the years, SECI has also performed office and shop leasing for tenants including government agencies and medical, legal and financial firms. Headquartered in the Noble Building in downtown Anniston, SECI renovated this former 50,000 square foot former department store into office, retail, and restaurant space in 1999. Office spaces not used by SECI are leased to a variety of tenants including attorneys, doctors, financial service provider, a restaurant, and others.

Selected Completed Projects

Wal-Mart Supercenters Anniston, Arab, Boaz, Greenville, & Jacksonville, Alabama

SECI served as a consulting broker for Wal-Mart and was primarily responsible for identifying, evaluating, and recommending potential sites.

Home Depot Florence, Alabama

SECI associated with CNL to develop a new shopping center in Florence anchored by Home Depot.

CVS Anniston, Alabama

SECI, in association with D.E. Locklear, developed a new CVS store on Quintard Avenue.

The Fountain   Huntsville, Alabama

SECI in association with Holrob, Inc transformed Huntsville’s first enclosed shopping mall into a modern retail center with anchor tenants including Costco and Home Depot.

Big Brothers   Huntsville, Alabama

SECI in association with Holrob, Inc. rehabilitated the former Big Brothers shore as a new shopping center.
